Geoff & Sue Lockwood moved to the island in 2008 to fulfil their ambitions of island life.

They quickly felt there was a niche market not being fulfilled and the idea of MACEYS was conceived. They bring with them their passion for retail and customer service.

Geoff has been in the Supermarket retail business from leaving school over 30 years ago. He has been the General Manager of some of the biggest hypermarkets with Sainsburys and ASDA, as well as a Regional Manager with ASDA in the UK.

Along with his UK experience he has also worked in the Middle East, as CEO of a supermarket chain in the United Arab Emirates and more recently as Saudi Arabian Country Manager for a large Middle Eastern Hypermarket company.

Sue has been involved in the Financial Services industry all her career. Working for HSBC Group, and then as a Financial Advisor with one of the major Assurance Companies in the UK. Sue holds various Banking and Financial Services qualifications. Her last key position in the UK was as Sales Manager for a Financial Services IT Company, where she gained knowledge of computer systems prior to moving to Saudi Arabia with husband, Geoff.
